Since 1998, Muriel Creek Cattle Co. has been producing healthy food for friends, family and customers. The product line expanded from our 100% Grassfed Beef into Pastured Chicken & Turkey and Free Range Eggs. The methods chosen are designed to maximize animal health while producing the very best food.

Rather than going Certified Organic (the rules are actually quite poor and do little to create a healthier product), we have chosen to be consumer certified. We have an open farm policy and have hosted more than 10,000 visitors. We strive to educate folks who may not have connections to a family farm.

Our farm began in 1998 and was owned by Tina's parents. They were instrumental in helping us get started. Many have asked us over the years why a nurse and a flight engineer would ever want to farm. It is possibly the most challenging career path anyone can take, with weather, animal health, market conditions (BSE), ever-rising costs (fuel, equipment), and world economic conditions. Any of these can create drastic swings in income. It is for these reasons we chose a different path for our farm. Direct marketing of healthy products was important to us. And so it began. People began asking for more products, and those were studied, grown, and tested on our guinea pigs (children) before being marketed to discerning consumers.

Putting the "family" in our farm are our six kids, and although they are also a lot of work it is truly a blessing to be around them every day.

Over the years the farm has grown and challenged us while sticking to our principles and our faith. It has provided a wonderful place to raise our children and to share with thousands a real family farm.

Farm Tours
A rare experience in today's farms are multiple species being raised. Over the ten years of giving tours, we have increased the wide assortment of animals and have exposed over 10,000 people to a true working family farm.

School tours are always fun as kids get to smell, see, hear and touch many of the furry critters. Wagon rides, time on the playground, and a picnic area for lunch or a snack is included in our school tours. Also offered for school science programs are renewable-energy tours.

Birthday parties and business family day parties are also hosted, and here we can be creative to work with you in making it a spectacular day for all.
